Jim McHale

Jim McHale leads the SATO business unit for LIXIL Corporation, a global leader in housing and building products and owner of the American Standard, INAX, and GROHE brands. In his previous role as Vice President of R&D at American Standard, Mr. McHale and team began working in the design of affordable sanitation products for consumers in developing countries. He is now building SATO™ into the first, global brand of bathroom products specifically targeted for the three billion people in the world that live without access to modern plumbing. Prior to joining LIXIL / American Standard, Mr. McHale served in engineering management roles at General Electric and as a postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University.
