I'm one of the pioneers of Business Design: bridging Design, Technology and Strategy and putting people at the centre, so businesses can launch products and services that are meaningful, and evolve internally to become amazing places to work. I like to think of it as a new profession, and love to spread the word about it. At Futurice I lead an amazing team of people who apply creativity and rigour to everything they do, and give our clients a true sense of the possible, the desirable and the feasible. I pioneered 'Business Design' at Fjord, growing it from a tiny bunch of like-minded souls into a global team of over 70 people with international reach and scale. And it was a key factor in making the Accenture acquisition into a huge success story - together with my intrepid colleagues we took design into lots of new places, with clients and teams who saw massive potential and delivered on it. I've been bridging communities for quite a while, from academia, management and IT consulting and Design. What motivates me is the need to solve for the right problems, find the human in our interactions and dealings, and ultimately make business a better place for people.
