I’m a freelance journalist who contributes to various online and print publications. Manchester-based for the past four years, I relocated from Orlando, Florida by way of Tokyo, where I fell in love with mass transit and insane pedestrian crossings, taught English and began writing for magazines. Lover of the North West, though often called crazy for trading Florida for a Mancunian life. Currently writing my second novel while trying to forget my first. I avoid every sort of meat except chorizo and have a serious, though not debilitating fear of hair. Sometimes an angry feminist, but mainly when my husband insists I include him in my contributor biographies.
