Kate Bennell

Hi, I am Kate Bennell.
I write about living life to the full as a visually impaired lady in the UK and my experiences and challenges – including things I find helpful and amusing. I love spending time with family and friends, listening to music and audio books, playing the piano, baking, wine tasting, holidays, watching movies and Paralympic sport – all of these may feature in my blog! I sing with a choir and am a member of my local Women’s Institute Group.

I am passionate about equal opportunities for people who are disabled. Most of all I love being a daughter, sister and auntie!

I have worked at Sightsavers since May 2000. My role as Organisational inclusion coordinator is all about making sure all projects and systems are accessible to people with disabilities and inclusive of everyone.
