Katie Gallagher

Katie Gallagher is the Managing Director of Manchester Digital. She joined the organisation three years ago, transforming it from a volunteer run association into a successful, sustainable trade body, relevant to a broad range of digital businesses. The organisation has over 500 members and provides a range of specialist support to its members including workspace, conferences and supply chain development. Part of her role at Manchester Digital is to lobby and comment on regional and national policy for the development of the digital industry in the North West. Much of her time is devoted to promoting and encouraging the development of digital skills at all levels and finding short, medium and long terms solutions to the current skills shortage.

Katie has significant experience in the digital industry and economic development, having run a creative workspace, The Sharp Project, as well as spending time with a digital industries specialist for an inward investment agency.
