Katie is a freelance journalist, PR and copywriter as well as an award winning blogger at Pouting In Heels. She’s also a mum to one, her two year old daughter Elsie.

From Lancashire originally, Katie now lives with the ‘enemy’ in South Yorkshire and describes herself as an ordinary woman trying her best to create an extraordinary life.

As a young girl, she would make magazines from scratch and spent her days dreaming of becoming a writer, so she still can’t quite believe that she spends her days and earns her money doing exactly what she loves.

A proud freelancer and blogger, Katie could talk for hours about how wonderful both of these things are. She’d probably also tell you about the numerous benefits a kick ass pair of heels can bring into your life, too.

Her blog Pouting In Heels aims to inspire women to be happier, to do better, to reach higher. In a nutshell, she truly wants women to feel better about themselves and each other. Besides aiming to be a great mum, this is her main passion and motivation in life.

Katie has been a magazine cover girl (just the once), is the owner of an award winning pout (don’t ask) and has a fondness for all things glamorous - especially when it comes to heels and frocks.

However, she’s always at her happiest, when she’s cuddling her daughter and reading her stories, preferably in front of a log fire, with a cup of tea in hand.
