Lara Platman

A photographer and writer ( photofeature) specialising in documenting areas of society that are often considered to be eccentric or endangered. My overarching ambition is to ensure that Britain’s living national treasures are acknowledged by a wider audience, as can be seen in my three published books.

Having moved into a potting shed to restore my own 1964 Land Rover Series 11a, I am also currently working on a personal project, looking at the history of woman in motor racing and aviation whilst hoping to get on a race track soon...I fancy a spot of old fashioned glamour with all the thrills.
