Larissa Kennedy (20) is Education Officer and Deputy President at Warwick Students’ Union, and on the Committee for the NUS Black Students’ Campaign. In 2017, she was featured at Number 63 of the ‘Future 100’ List of the most influential women at UK universities and in 2018 Larissa was honoured as ‘Black Student of the Year’ by NUS. In September 2017, Larissa was elected to the British Youth Council’s trustee board and, in 2018, she was the UK Youth Delegate to the Council of Europe Congress. Larissa is also the UK’s representative to the Global Secretariat at Youth For Change, currently focusing on ending FGM and child marriage, across the UK, Tanzania and Bangladesh.
