Leo Quinn was appointed CEO of QinetiQ Group plc in November 2009. The company was formed from the privatised part of the former UK government agency, Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (DERA). It was recently announced that from 2013, apprentice intake would increase from 25 to 100 each year. to encourage the next generation of British innovation talent.
