Lex Croucher

Lex Croucher is one of the UK’s leading young women on YouTube, with over 5 million video views on her YouTube channel ‘Tyrannosauruslex’. Lex is a musician and plays the guitar and sings as well as making music videos and regular video blogs on social issues and beauty. Lex’s talent was recognised by YouTube when she was awarded one of its prestigious ‘Next Up’ prizes in 2011. She has also recently completed her degree in English at the University of Southampton.In recent years, Lex has moved to focus her video blogs on one issue per blog and she is passionate about the power of YouTube and social media to publicise causes and achieve positive change in the world. In particular Lex is passionate about the importance of having women properly represented online and protecting women the sexism and abuse that so many women face on the internet. Lex is an ambassador for Save the Children and supports their #YouTubeforSyria campaign.
