Former director of UK Special Forces and Commander of the British Field Army

Lieutenant General Sir Graeme Lamb is a former director of UK Special Forces and Commander of the British Field Army. He was Deputy Commander to US General Petraeus in Iraq and key adviser to US General McChrystal in Afghanistan.

Since his retirement from the military, he has become a trustee of Walking with The Wounded, is Colonel Commandant of the Special Air Services and is a member of the RUSI Advisory Council. He is also a Senior Fellow at Yale’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs and advises large organisations on strategy with Skarbek Associates. He is a regular media commentator on military and geo-political issues.
