Lily Bissett

Lily Bissett is a freelance writer, career coach and accountancy tutor on a mission to empower the ambitious to achieve their personal and professional goals. A Google Global Community Scholar and StartingBloc Fellow, she believes in stripping out the psychobabble and providing people with sensible solutions to move their lives - personal and professional - in a fulfilling direction.

Lily started her career in the most traditional of avenues possible: doing a graduate scheme for an investment bank, back when times were good. She spent six years in the industry, working in IT, before moving into Finance and qualifying as an accountant. She eventually left to start up her own business and pursue a more flexible career path.

She now teaches accountancy, is a successful career coach and a freelance writer for a variety of online publications.
