Joint winner of the SCOOP OF THE YEAR AWARD by the London Press Club for the Jimmy Savile expose; former Correspondent and presenter for the BBC current affairs programme Newsnight; winner of the DANIEL PEARL AWARD for Outstanding International Investigative Journalism for a series of reports into the illegal dumping of toxic waste in West Africa.

Liz also runs a media consultancy advising organisations on crisis communications, currently working with the INDEPENDENT JERSEY CARE INQUIRY. She also lectures on reputational management in the age of digital news reporting, media training, conference facilitation and after-dinner speaking.
