Malcolm McPhail

Malcolm lives in Bury, Greater Manchester, with his wife Rhonda and children Madeleine and Zara. He is the CEO of Life Leisure - a charitable trust and not for profit social enterprise company that manages sports and leisure facilities in and around Stockport, and delivers a range of sports and physical activity programmes in neighbourhoods across the area. Having held a number of high profile roles within the UK health and fitness industry - including the position of Sports Director for Next Generation for six years - the former British Counties Athletics Champion and Scottish 400m record holder is passionate to making sport and activity accessible and affordable to anyone from any background. A dedicated family man, Malcolm spends as much of his spare time as possible with his wife and girls, but also likes to keep is hand (and feet) in with running.
