Mark Austin

Mark is a multi-award winning broadcast journalist who co-presents ITV Evening News. He has presented on locations as far afield as the Antarctic, the Israel/Gaza border, Libya, Haiti, Nepal, Mogadishu, Afghanistan and Washington and his interviewees include Winnie Mandela, Shimon Peres, Tony Blair, and Bob Geldof. Mark has a host of Awards including most recently ‘Presenter of the Year’ at the 2014 and 2015 Royal Television Society awards; a BAFTA in 2010 in 2012. He has also received an International Emmy for his reporting of the floods in Mozambique, a Golden Nymph for covering the war in Kosovo and a Gold Medal at the Film & Television Festival of New York for his coverage of the Bosnian war.
