Professor Mark Lawler is Chair in Translational Cancer Genomics and Dean of Education at the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences at Queen’s University Belfast. He recently collected The 2018 European Health Award at the European Health Forum Gastein for a pan-European collaborative initiative to address cancer inequalities across Europe. The work to develop the European Cancer Patient's Bill of Rights was supported by the Society for Translational Oncology and the Morrison Endowment.
