Mark Rowland is Director of Fundraising & Communications at the Mental Health Foundation. Mark was raised in Rwanda and in his working life, spent 15 years working for a range of international development NGOs – on fundraising, marketing and communications, including spending a year on the Thai/Burma border.

In 2013, Mark lost his older brother, Daniel, to suicide following a long battle with depression, leading to his commitment to good mental health for all.

Mark has an MBA from the Open University and has an active interest in social finance and social enterprises.
