Mary Rose Brady


Currently Director of Operations for the British Association of Art Therapists Mary Rose Brady trained as an artist at the famous Glasgow School of Art and then went on to further train as an Art Psychotherapist. Mary Rose has over 20 years’ experience in children and young people’s mental health and is also a specialist parenting practitioner. She has lectured and delivered workshops internationally and recently worked alongside charities in Mumbai to support disadvantaged and trafficked women and girls through art therapy.

Mary Rose is particularly interested in the unique role that art therapy can play in engaging and fostering trust with marginalised children and young people who have had complex and traumatic life experiences.
