Dr. Megan A. Armstrong is a teacher in the School of Geography, Politics, and Sociology at Newcastle University. She was awarded her PhD from Newcastle University in 2015 for her thesis titled "Overkill: The Sexualised Body in Violent Identity Politics". Her research focuses on queer theory, critical security studies, and political violence.
