Melanie Hackwell, BSc (Hons) Lic. AC., Lic. Tui na, MBAcC, RTCM

Melanie is a acupuncturist and fertility expert. Melanie has a particular interest in sub-fertility issues relating to both male and female fertility. Having used acupuncture herself for fertility, she is very familiar with the high levels of emotion and anxiety that go along with it. She offers supportive acupuncture and massage services to patients undergoing IVF and other assisted conception programmes.

Melanie's commitment to acupuncture as a means of protecting and restoring general health and well-being is based on her personal experience and belief in Chinese Medicine and its approaches to healing. By using both Acupuncture and Chinese Massage, she works on all aspects of the patient, to bring the body back into alignment and good health.

Mel also practice Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and other interests include anxiety, insomnia, menopause, auto-immune disorders, musculo-skeletal and paediatrics.

Additional therapies include cupping, moxa and gua sha (skin scraping).

Melanie is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and the UK Register of Tui Na Chinese Massage.

Mel practices between three clinic in Balham, Putney and Neal’s Yard Covent Garden.
