Molifi Tshabalala is the author of "The Thought of an Ordinary Citizen," self-published in 2015. Since around mid-2016, in the run-up to the 2016 local government elections to be precise, he has been a regular contributor to The Sunday Independent, carrying a title of an 'independent political analyst'. Tshabalala's opinion pieces have also been published in a few media outlets and are available online. He has contributed to a few radio stations, namely Power987, CapeTalk, Radio Islam International, and SAfm.
