Nasir founded financial innovation consulting firm New Buckland, was Director at The Currency Cloud, as well as a Director of High Frequency Trading & E-commerce at RBS. He is the patented inventor of one of the world's preeminent trading platforms, The EBS dealing system, processing $220 billion in transactions per day.
Nasir is one of "40 Innovators Shaping the Future of Financial Services" on the 2014 FinTech 40 Power List compiled by Financial News and The Wall Street Journal. He has a Bachelors degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Masters from London Business School (LBS).
Nasir likes to help startups/small businesses, sharing what he has learnt from his own experience of business big and small; he was a tutor on the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Programme and was voted "Business Mentor of the Year 2012" at the London Awards for Enterprise.
