Van Kuffeler Chair of Water Resources at Delft University of Technology

Professor Nick van de Giesen is the Van Kuffeler Chair of Water Resources at Delft University of Technology, one of the top 20 science and technology universities in the world, where he lectures in the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences. Nick leads the Trans-African Hydro-Meteorological Observatory (TAHMO) project, and is also Chair of the Delft Environment Research Initiative. His main research and educational interests are modelling of complex water resources systems, development of science-based decision support systems, and new measurement techniques.
