Oscar Williams-Grut

Oscar Williams-Grut is a 21-year-old student in his third year studying History at St. John’s College, Cambridge. He edited the University's most read student publication The Tab from June to December 2011, and before that was News Editor for two terms.

He has written for the Sunday Telegraph, WannabeHacks.co.uk and Streatham Guardian. Fleet Street Blues has called him “a name to watch” and his work has been featured on ‘Ones To Watch’. He’s currently writing his graduating dissertation on how Rupert Murdoch’s takeover affected the Sun newspaper between 1969 and 1972.

He is also an occasional DJ and devoted music fan, an avid consumer of TV and books, and was an artist in a past life.
