Pinakin Patel is Head of Prevent working out of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and is head of the London Prevent Network which he set up in 2007. He also chairs the Prevent Advisory Group and is a member of the London Prevent Board. Pinakin is one of most senior and experienced local authority Prevent Coordinators in the UK having worked in this field continuously since 2007. He manages one of largest and most established Prevent teams and programmes in the country. The main priorities of the team are safeguarding, training and community engagement.
