With a background in broadcast engineering, when I found myself at home with my first child I also found that my mind would not stop throwing out random ideas for new products. Most of these ideas never made it to paper, let alone any further! Then in late 2011, I set out to see if one of these ideas could become an easier way to help children toilet train. Having been through the process of toilet training my first child, I found a great deal of advice and products for daytime potty training but a lack of products that actively help children with toilet training through the night. The idea was to give parents a single potty their children could use from the first day to the last night. After research gained from the opinions of mums and dads, grandparents, pre-schools and childcare professionals, LumiPotti was born.
