Rachel graduated from Cambridge with a degree in Classics, going on to complete her Masters there. She has always been passionate about feminism and social justice, blogging and getting involved in activism both within and outside of university. While at Cambridge, she wrote for The Tab on issues of feminism and sexuality, and has previously been published in DIVA Magazine. She also spoke in a debate at the Cambridge Union, proposing 'This House Believes that sex has lost all meaning', opposite porn actor Benedict Garrett and journalist Julieanne Smolinski.
Having spent six months working at a boarding school in South Korea (helping to teach Korean students Latin), she is now traveling round Asia, experiencing life a single female backpacker. She writes mainly about minority rights, issues affecting young people, and alternative approaches to relationships and sexuality, and has been an unofficial agony aunt (advice columnist without a column) for the last three years.
