Rebecca Trevalyan

Rebecca is co-founder and director of Library of Things – a friendly place where people come to borrow useful items, and learn how to use them.

Fed up of spending money on things like tools and kitchen appliances that she only used once, Rebecca set-up the Library of Things last year with friends and fellow Brixton residents, James and Emma. Since then, the trio have run a successful 3-month pilot scheme, raised £15,000 via a Kickstarter campaign, and talked to groups around the globe who want to start similar sharing initiatives.

In her day job, Rebecca builds communities at Impact Hub Brixton – an inspiring workspace for entrepreneurs, activists and artists, who share an ethos of openness and collaboration.

Rebecca holds an MA in Leadership for Sustainable Development, and a BA in Modern Languages.
