Richard Gower

Richard is Senior Associate for Economics and Policy at international development NGO Tearfund, and the Director of Foresight Economics, a consultancy specialising in work for the third sector.
He began his career working on international negotiations for the UK Government, before leading Oxfam GB’s work influencing the G20 negotiations, and spending time ‘in the field' as a development practitioner in Zimbabwe. His topics of interest include the circular economy, migration and development, tax and the Sustainable Development Goals, and financial sector reform.
At the weekends he can be found windsurfing, walking, sailing, or working out how to raise a toddler.
