His most recent novel, The Medusa Amulet, is a supernatural thriller inspired by the life of the Renaissance sculptor, Benvenuto Cellini; his previous novel, Blood and Ice, was a tale that traveled from Victorian England and the battlefields of the Crimean War to a remote, Antarctic research station.
