Rosie Knowles is a mum of two, a practising GP, and an experienced babywearing/carrying consultant and educator. She runs the
Sheffield Sling Surgery and Library, which supports thousands of parents locally and nationwide and also runs the retail service
Sling Spot. She is the author of "
Why Babywearing Matters" and trains peer supporters (under the Born to Carry banner). They are then able to help and encourage local parents who want to learn more about carrying their children safely and well.
She has been profoundly deaf since toddlerhood and wears hearing aids.
