Sara Gon

Sara is a Policy Fellow for the Institute of Race Relations and writes digestible articles for the general media on any socio-political topics. After 17 years in the legal profession, Sara went on to co-found and manage the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra. This was followed by her own musical agency which produced some large works but concentrated on chamber music in interesting spaces. Additional experience includes labour mediation, arbitration and disciplinary hearings, chairing governing bodies of government schools and trustee of an Early Education Trust.
