Sarah Aston

Sarah is currently a freelance journalist looking to work in the media industry permanently. With a background in politics and international relations, Sarah is well informed on matters relating to domestic and international politics, social issues and current affairs and is currently the assistant editor for the current affairs news desk of The Upcoming.

Sarah’s portfolio includes: Travel pieces, culture pieces, current affairs features, news stories (local and international) and reviews.

Sarah has also in recent years lived and worked in both Berlin and New York. Her Berlin experience saw her working for the Institute of Cultural Diplomacy whilst she spent her time in New York working for one of the leading organisations in global ethical affairs, the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs.
