Sean Vanderdasson

Sean Vanderdasson has been with WildTangent since June 2004 and is responsible for the global games service business. His focus is on providing consumers and partners with compelling entertainment experiences, and is the co-creator of WildTangent's patented WildCoins digital currency and the WildTangent Games App.

Vanderdasson is a veteran of the online retail and entertainment industries with more than 15 years of experience. Prior to joining WildTangent, Vanderdasson worked for more than five years at Wizards of the Coast, Inc. (a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc.) as the founder and Vice President of eCommerce. Under his leadership, Wizard's eCommerce division grew from $250,000 to $50 million in annual revenue within 18 months, helping drive the company's valuation and eventual acquisition by Hasbro in 1999. In April 2000, Vanderdasson was inducted into the Smithsonian Institute's Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. for his accomplishments at Wizards of the Coast.
Vanderdasson has built two other companies and has been a guest speaker at Microsoft Corp., has worked with the MIT Venture Forum and has been quoted in many e-commerce-related magazines.

Vanderdasson received his M.B.A. degree with honors from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and his B.S. degree in Finance Law from Portland State University.
