Sebastian Burnside is a Senior Economist within RBS Economics and joined the bank in 2009. He leads the team that provides economic advice to the retail bank. His analysis of the UK economy and household sector helps ensure we manage our products to best reflect our customers' needs.
Sebastian also leads on the economics of financial sector regulation. Before joining RBS Economics he worked for Ofcom, the communications regulator, and in consultancy. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Edinburgh.
