I was appointed as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice in October 2013 where legal aid, civil justice, legal services and judicial policy are amongst my Government responsibilities.
I am the Member of Parliament for North West Cambridgeshire. Prior to becoming an MP in 2005 I worked as a qualified solicitor and have been a senior legal adviser and business consultant for London First, and am vice-president of the Small Business Bureau.
