Shelley Doherty

Shelley Doherty is a 42 year old wife and mother of two boys, from Manchester. She has worked as front of house, for Marie Stopes UK, for 4 years and is the first point of contact for women accessing the abortion clinic. Shelley was inspired to work for Marie Stopes after seeing hordes of anti-choice individuals with banners outside the Manchester clinic when she went with her husband for his vasectomy. Her role in protecting women from abuse and harassment gives her the strength and commitment to do her job. Shelley describes her job as the hardest but best job she has ever had.
