Shereece Marcantonio

My name is Shereece Marcantonio and I’m an 18 year old sex and relationships peer educator from East London.

Peer educators are young people who teach their peers about the birds and the bees. I am trained and qualified and think it’s vital for all young people in Britain to receive sex and relationships education in the peer to peer style. Young people are really receptive to this, due to the comfortable and open environment in which we teach.

I am currently campaigning for inclusion of peer to peer on the national curriculum. Yes, I know this is a huge task! But, any way that I can get the Government to take this style of teaching seriously, will be a victory for me and all young people and their sexual health.
