Simone Webb is a PhD student in Gender Studies at University College London. Her research puts the seventeenth-century philosopher Mary Astell in dialogue with the later thought of Michel Foucault. She is also involved with public and community philosophy activities such as the Stuart Low Trust Philosophy Forum. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, bouldering, and horror films.
