Hi there, I'm Sophie. I was a carer for my dad before he died of motor neurone disease (ALS in the states), and much of my writing is around death and grief, and other super fun things. It's important we have discussions about dying because it's the only given we have, and we might as well make it humorous to stave off the existential dread. I can usually be found collecting junk from the beach and thinking of ways to make it pretty or useful, going out of my way to say hello to a dog or falling into a youtube pit of Janelle Monae reaction videos.
