Terence Corrigan

Policy Fellow at the South African Institute of Race Relations and Independent Research Consultant

Terence Corrigan Terence Corrigan is a researcher, writer, editor and illustrator. A native of KwaZulu-Natal, he holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Pietermaritzburg). He is currently a policy fellow at the Institute of Race Relations (IRR), and an independent research consultant for a variety of clients. Over the past 20 years, he has held various positions at the South African Institute of Race Relations (IRR), South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA), SBP (formerly known as the Small Business Project) and the Gauteng Legislature – as well as having taught English in Taiwan. He is an experienced writer, and has produced dozens of research papers and media articles, and has edited and reviewed dozens more. His interests are eclectic and include African governance, land and agrarian policy, political culture and political thought, aid and development, corporate governance, enterprise development and business policy. He has published in each of these areas.
