Director and co-founder of UK-based weapons monitoring organisation Article 36. Thomas serves on the leadership bodies of the International Network on Explosive Weapons, the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons and the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots. From 2004-11, Thomas coordinated the international Cluster Munition Coalition that resulted in a ban on cluster bombs. Thomas formerly worked for the NZ Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Geneva.
