Tim Harris

Tim Harris is CEO and co-founder of LaTienda.com, an online gourmet Spanish food retailer with warehouses in Virginia and Spain. Since founding La Tienda in 1996, the Harris family has supported the community, both locally and internationally, with particular focus on food banks and adult literacy.

Son of a Chaplain in the U.S. Navy, Harris spent his early childhood in Cadiz, Spain and currently travels the country several times a year, visiting his network of small family producers. La Tienda’s Campaign for Spain is a charitable fundraiser for the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL) which was initiated in November of 2012. Donations go directly to FESBAL to provide food for needy families in Spain. No purchase is necessary and La Tienda will match, dollar for dollar, donations made up to $25,000.
