Tomas Hirst is a journalist and playwright based in Moscow. He has previously written for the Guardian, The Times, and currently writes a Russia blog for Prospect Magazine. Over the past three years he has written and produced “Matryoshka” (2010) at the Landor Theatre, London and “In Parallel” (2009) at the Arcola Theatre, London. His new project, The 17, is currently under development.
