Campaigner, former Kensington MP and Deputy Mayor of London

Following a business career in a subsidiary of the P&O Group, Victoria was elected as a local Councillor in Kensington and Chelsea in 2002, where she focussed on Family and Children’s services, and became a Governor for a school under the Westway. In 2008 Victoria was elected as a Member of the London Assembly and served on the Metropolitan Police Authority and the Transport Committee. In 2012 Victoria became The Deputy Mayor of London to Boris Johnson representing the Mayor at a wide range of events across London. In 2015, Victoria was elected as MP for Kensington until 2017. Victoria lives locally in RBKC, is married with four children, continues to help residents, campaigns on local issues, and is an elected Governor to the Brompton hospital. During her time in politics Victoria has championed fairer funding for Schools, investment in UK tech sector and tackling the state of housing. Victoria represented the Mayor on the London Health Commission and was Chair of the Health and Public Services Committee examining a range of health issues, including Hep C. early intervention on alcohol abuse, mental health and improving patient outcomes with better shared care. As a lifelong Londoner, Victoria has seen first-hand the devastating tragedy and loss of life from knife crime and has worked with several voluntary and youth organisations.
