As a journalist my first job was at the New York Times, where I spent three years writing weather reports and wedding announcements, graduating to collapsed circus tents and murder scenes. Back in London I worked at YOU magazine, the Evening Standard, Red magazine and most recently, at woman&home magazine, where I was Assistant Editor and wrote and edited a LOT of copy, as well as doing numerous celebrity interviews. My first book 'Things I wish I'd known; women tell the truth about motherhood' (Icon), an anthology of brilliant - and honest - essays about motherhood by top notch writers, is out now.
