Vuyokazi Futshane is a social justice warrior dedicated to the realisation of a just and equal society who works at the Studies in Poverty and Inequality Institute as a researcher on the SADC BIG Campaign and the Basic Needs Basket Project. She holds a BA Honours in Anthropology and is currently pursuing an MA in Anthropology focusing on a human rights perspective towards decriminalising sex work in South Africa. Her special interests lie in pan Africanism, Afri-feminism, intersectionality, social protection, social transparency and accountability.
