Will Best is a TV presenter with bundles of charm and a contagious passion for all things music, comedy and youth culture.
His first TV presenting gig was in a series called ‘Suck My Pop’ on VIVA, part of the MTV network, with Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh. Will has also voiced the MTV Top 20 chart on VIVA and across the MTV network.
Will was the latest addition to the T4 family when he joined in 2011 and was seen every Saturday and Sunday on Channel 4 and E4 until the strand ended in December 2012. During this time, he presented Freshly Squeezed and the Snowbombing Festival coverage in Austria for Channel 4, fronted his first live online show Heat4, which was in conjunction with Heat Magazine and the E4 website, and was the monthly music and entertainment presenter on 4Music show, ‘The Crush’.
In 2012 and 2013, he hosted the iTunes Festival for C4 and E4 with Nick Grimshaw, Annie Mac, Lauren Laverne and Tom Ravenscroft, interviewing all the bands and hosting backstage coverage over the month-long festival. He also hosted a new Channel 4 music show, in association with Lyle & Scott, introducing new DJs, artists and bands.
With online TV becoming a rapidly growing genre, Will teamed up with music mogul Simon Cowell on a couple of international projects. You Generation TV was a weekly global show that searched for the most talented viewers and was watched in Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, the UK and the USA to name but a few. Will also hosted a live show with Skype from Simon Cowell's house in LA, called 'Ask Simon', where fans could submit their questions.
Will runs a series of popular 'house' nights in London called ReviveHer, which brings incredible acts & DJs from all over the world to host a great night for music fans. Previous artists have included Jackmaster, Julio Bashmore, Jam City, Dark Sky, Mad Mats, Yakula, DJ Gonno from Japan, and London-based DJ Gatto Fritto.
Will also recently launched an exciting electronic music sharing site called audio splitter.
