First it was London Zoo’s penguins. Now, the capital’s dog population is set to spread messages of acceptance, love and hope for London Pride.
A celebratory event for dogs will take place on Saturday 6 July in Soho, London, from 1-4pm – with more than 100 dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes in fabulous rainbow outfits expected to attend.
The event has been organised by Insta-famous Mildred the Sausage, who has 48k followers, and her owners Catherine and Grace. They originally co-founded the Sausage Walk London, which saw 1,000 dachshunds gather in Greenwich Park in March 2018.
This year, the owners have collaborated with BrewDog Soho to host a free ‘pawty’ for four-legged friends who want to support the LGBT+ community.

People on Twitter were bowled over this week by an eight-week-old kitten’s adorable reaction to her owner entering the room.
Every time I watch her jump from around the corner with her little paws in the air, my heart melts even more. What a purrfect specimen.

This cheeky pit bull had a chewing sesh on the sofa and got caught red-pawed.

These incredible pooches took part in a fancy dress Furbabies Dog Show in Wetherby, Leeds, this week. Much majestic wow.
