Adele has reached a divorce settlement with her estranged husband Simon Konecki, almost two years after they separated.
The singer announced she had split from the charity boss in April 2019. They married in 2016.
Adele, who has a reported net worth of £138m, filed for divorce in September 2019 in Los Angeles, and court records show she filed a judgment packet earlier this month.
The former couple will officially be divorced when a judge signs off the agreement.
The former couple began dating in 2011 and welcomed their son, Angelo, in 2012.
Adele cited irreconcilable differences when they split and both parties wanted joint custody of Angelo.
The initial filing revealed separation of assets and properties would be decided through mediation, but the details of the settlement have not been made public.
Speaking at the time the separation was announced, a representative for Adele said: “They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”
The 32-year-old Grammy winner, whose releases include 2011’s 21 and 2015’s 25, has been working on a new album – which is expected to be released this year.
Earlier this month, her friend Alan Carr revealed he had heard a number of tracks from the highly anticipated release – and if his review is anything to go by, it sounds like we’re in for a real treat.
“I’ve actually heard some tracks on it,” the comedian and presenter said. “Oh my god, it’s so amazing. So amazing.
“The thing is – can I just say this – I remember they change all the time because they’re really rough things.”
Alan continued: “Everyone’s like, ‘What’s it like? What’s it like?’ But I said to her, I said, ‘That voice is like an old friend.’
“Because there are some people in the charts who sound a bit like Adele and you think, ‘Oh they sound like Adele’ and then when you hear Adele’s voice again you go, ’Oh no, there’s only one. There’s only one Adele.”
